'98 mazda miata [Angeles Crest]

Concept vehicle design, reverse engineered from the chassis of a 1998 Mazda Miata. Demonstrating a democratized software workflow to custom automotive design intended for advanced manufacturing. Presented in a photo-real synthetic environment.

Earle Motors [E/Mulholland]

Additively manufactured parts and components designed in collaboration with Alex Earle for his latest custom build prototype of the Livewire One Electric Motorcycle. Currently on display at the LiveWire showroom in Malibu, CA. [earlemotors.com]

HYVISTA [Modular Adventure Van Interior]

Interior box designed for on-demand manufactured tooling and additively manufactured components. Designed & light-engineered from 3D scanned geometry. Sleeps 1-3 depending on configuration & fits all the toys [motorcycles, surf boards, bikes].

SMG WERKS [911 Custom Door Handle]

A custom door handle milled out of aluminum in its final form completes the new interior of a 993 Porsche 911 from SMG WERKS. Sketch ideation, full scale additively manufactured prototypes and manufacturing consultation for CNC machining.

EARLE MOTORS [flatcap fender]

Tasked with reverse engineering and re-designing a rear fender for Earle's reimagined "big wheel" Ducati Desert Sled. 

Our process was digitally driven, utilizing 3D scanning technology to provide reference for the CAD modeling. The aesthetic language references classic Italian forms, but executed in a contemporary manner & fully optimized for additive manufacturing.

 A demonstration of design's role in our perceptions of value, manifested through powersports design. Designed, printed and assembled in 8 days, using an upcycled chassis and powertrain from a 1986 Honda Ascot. We explore ideas surrounding the actual value, perceived value and potential value of both "new" and "pre-existing" products. The result is a thoughtful narrative, which aims to qualify the importance of legacy in regard to innovating future products and systems.
